Plug & Prep

The honest bit

Affiliate disclosure

How Plug & Prep makes money — in plain English, with nothing buried.

The short version

Plug & Prep is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. When you click one of our links and buy something, we may receive a small commission — at no extra cost to you. You pay exactly what you would have paid anyway.

How our links work

Our buy buttons route through a redirect on our own domain (you'll see a /go/link) that adds our affiliate tag and sends you to the retailer. Every earning link is marked up as sponsored, per Google's guidelines. The prices we show are pulled live from Amazon and stamped with a date; they change constantly, and the price you see at checkout on Amazon is always the one that counts.

Why it doesn't change what we recommend

This is the part that matters. Commission never influences our rankings. No brand pays us for placement, no manufacturer sends us free product, and we regularly rank a cheaper item above a pricier one that would pay us more — because a recommendation you regret is worth nothing to anyone. If you ever see a pick that only makes sense as a way for us to earn more, we've failed, and we'd like to know. Read our editorial policy and how we pick for the full method.

Other retailers

Amazon is our default retailer. Where we mention a brand's own store or another retailer we're not affiliated with, that link is a plain reference link and we earn nothing from it — we include it because it's useful to you, not to us.
